Marisa Burke

Marisa Burke owns Marisa Burke Communications in Colorado and Pennsylvania specializing in providing persuasive communications strategies, media and public relations, and brand storytelling for traditional, social, and digital platforms.
A native of central Pennsylvania, Marisa is a graduate of the Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College, New York.
She started her own multi-media agency after a long broadcast journalism career at WNEP-TV, the top-rated ABC affiliate in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she was the main anchor and lead producer. Marisa received a national Edward R. Murrow award in 2005 and was awarded Broadcaster of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters in 2017, not long after she concluded her local television news career.
That same year, Marisa assumed the role of national media specialist at Geisinger Health System, one the nation’s most innovative health services organizations, serving more than 1.5 million patients in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She also started writing her memoir, Just Checking Scores, which has just been published by Black Rose Writing in December of 2021. Besides running her business, Marisa is now the Group Director of News and Content for Coastal Television, a media company that operates television and radio stations in nine markets.

Dave Krisanda
David Krisanda has decades of television news production experience at one of the top-rated news stations in the country. Before becoming a partner in Real Newscasters LLC, David served as the Executive News Producer at WNEP-TV Channel 16, a highly rated ABC affiliate in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area serving 19 counties in northeastern and central Pennsylvania.
As Executive News Producer, David oversaw all elements of news programs and helped inspire and manage a talented, passionate staff of news reporters and newscast producers. The overriding goal throughout David’s television news career was to create interesting and informative newscasts, that always put the viewers first.
During his career at WNEP-TV, David also produced “newscaster segments” with professional newscasters playing the role of newscasters in entertainment programs. The newscasters anchored various newscast scenes using scripts that were provided by entertainment production companies. Those segments aired on network programs including Designated Survivor on ABC and Netflix, Quantico on ABC and Mr. Robot on USA Network. After ending his career in local TV news, David has continued to work with entertainment programs and recently produced “newscaster segments” for The Consultant on Amazon Prime.
Along with his current work with Real Newscasters LLC, David is a Local News Content Consultant for Coastal Television, a media company that operates television and radio stations in nine markets.
David is a native of northeastern Pennsylvania and a graduate of the University of Scranton. Before television, David began his media career as a radio newscaster in Scranton.
